The business problem

The work behind the system.

Jewellery billing can involve both money and metal. A single outstanding amount does not explain a customer’s cash position, fine-gold position or advances.

What we built

A connected way to work.

PentaForge built a focused billing workspace. The bill form holds item weights, deductions, touch and fine-gold fields alongside separate cash and fine balance sections. A bill register and advance-stock view support the next customer conversation.

Key features

Designed around daily work.

  • Issue and receive item lines
  • Gross, deduction and net-weight fields
  • Touch, rate and fine-gold fields
  • Previous, received and closing balances
  • Searchable bills with print controls
  • Customer advance gold and cash overview
Engineering considerations

The details matter.

Cash and fine gold need separate ledgers and clearly labelled balance directions. Showing previous, current and received amounts on the bill makes the calculation easier to follow.

These views show the application’s desktop workspace. For a similar system, we agree device support, deployment, access controls and integration needs during discovery.
